From "Fitting In" to Finding True Belonging

For years, I tried to fit the “typical” meditation therapist vibe—calm, neutral, zen. But the truth? That just isn’t me. I’m vibrant, expressive, and a little bit bold. And my old website and branding didn’t reflect that at all.

So, I scrapped it.

And let me tell you, this new version feels like home. It’s a reflection of who I am—fun fonts, bright colours, and my authentic voice shining through every page.

Creating this new site was a deeply personal process. For so long, I was focused on "fitting in," on creating something that looked like what I thought a meditation therapist's site should look like. But in doing so, I lost touch with what truly mattered—belonging to myself.

You see, we all have that desire to fit in, to mould ourselves into what we think is expected. But fitting in is not the same as belonging. Fitting in asks us to change, to minimize ourselves, to silence the parts of us that feel too loud, too much, too different. Belonging asks the opposite: it asks us to be fully ourselves, unapologetically.

When I looked at my old site, I realized I had been creating from a place of trying to fit in, not from a place of authenticity. That’s when I decided to make a change.

Now, this website is me, through and through. It’s bold, playful, and alive, just like the work I do in Meditation Therapy and workshops. Every detail, from the vibrant colours to the fun fonts, reflects my personality. It’s not just a website—it’s a space where I belong, where I can show up as my full, authentic self.

And that’s what I want for my clients too. I want you to feel seen, heard and understood. I want you to have a space where you can show up just as you are and feel like you belong, not because you’ve changed yourself to fit in, but because you’ve been embraced, every part of you welcome and celebrated.

So, screw “fitting in.” Let’s start embracing who we truly are and create a sense of belonging for ourselves. I’m so proud of this new site because it’s a reflection of that journey for me. I hope it resonates with you too.

Feel free to explore the new site, where you’ll find info on my Meditation Therapy sessions, Tranquil Teams, Workshops, and more. And hey, don’t be a stranger—let me know if it's your vibe too!

Here’s to belonging—to ourselves and each other.
