Join us at Impact Gym’s Wellness Studio in Erina for a transformative 2-hour in-person Meditation Therapy workshop with Epiphany Mason focused on cultivating self-compassion. “There is nobody more harsh on me, than me. Nobody who judges me harder or has as high expectations.” – Sound familiar? A lot of clients come to me saying some version of this. The bottom line is that their minds don’t feel like a safe place to be. Boy, do I get it! I got to the point where my inner voice was such a bully that I was terrified to go to sleep at night because I didn’t want to be alone with my thoughts before bed! Introducing Self-Compassion – BUT how impossible does that feel right now? The idea of being kind to yourself, of forgiving yourself, of having your own back? Like nonsense, right? Almost illegal. You’ve got to keep beating yourself up to get things done! Well, actually, the evidence shows that practicing self-compassion leads to a variety of benefits, including performance.
